I own restaurants in Santa Monica and Venice and have been in the hospitality industry for over thirty years.  I recently bought another restaurant in Venice.  Tim was recommended to me by another restaurant owner who had been his client.  Tim went over the Purchase Agreement for the restaurant, talked us through what it all meant and flagged the important legal issues we needed to know about, and negotiated with the vendor’s lawyer to remove some problematic clauses and get as a better deal. 

Tim also did due diligence on the new restaurant itself to make sure there were no legal problems with it that might come up down the track that we could be on the hook for.  Tim was extremely thorough and guided us through every step of the process.  We were very happy with Tim’s work on the purchase.

Since then, we have had legal problems with some of our staff.  We fired one of our staff members, and they got a lawyer and threatened to sue us.  We called Tim.  Tim got their lawsuit sent to arbitration, and then won the arbitration plus got us our legal costs back.  Since then, Tim now writes all our employment contracts and has written our internal HR policies so that this same issue won’t happen again in the future!

Because we use Tim for all our legal work, he knows our business inside-and-out.  He’s our go to lawyer whenever we have a problem.  We know we can call Tim day-or-night and he will take care of whatever problem we have.
